قدرت McKinsey أن الإنفاق على EdTech بحلول نهاية عام 2020 سيكون أكثر من 252 مليار دولار أمريكي وسيستمر هذا بشكل خاص خلال هذه الفترة الزمنية.
يتولى كبير موظفي التكنولوجيا (CTO) مسؤولية بناء مؤسسة تقنية قوية وجاهزة للمستقبل من منظور الأفراد والعمليات والتكنولوجيا وسيقدم تقاريره إلى الرئيس التنفيذي.
المهام الأساسية

تطوير استراتيجية التكنولوجيا ، بما في ذلك إدارة المعلومات الفعالة وإعداد التقارير والمنتجات
Our client is a leading EdTech company, backed by a large Global Multinational and will be launching in Early 2021. We are looking for several key senior roles across the group and are identifying the individuals to spearhead the rapid growth.
McKinsey have estimated that the EdTech spend by the end of 2020 will be in excess of 252bn USD and this will continue especially during this period of time.
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for building a strong, future ready technology organization from people, process and technology perspective and will be reporting in to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for establishing the company’s IT vision and leading all aspects of the company’s technological development
Develops technology strategy, including effective information management and reporting, products & solutions support, web presence/services and ICT infrastructure to stay at the forefront of the business.
Conducts long range planning, develop & oversee implementation of multi-year IT strategic plans with supporting business cases detailing investment requirements
Continuously identifies areas of cost optimization / rationalization through prudent technology spending and innovative technology standardization efforts
Act as Transformation Change Agent; overcomes innovation fatigue and entrenched organization resistance to change.
Responsible for optimizing and managing the technology network in a manner it delivers high efficiency with sufficient resilience
Reviews, negotiate and approve proposals and contracts for purchase of IT products and services
Ensures back up is established for all application systems to provide business continuity of IT services with minimum disruption in the event of contingencies.
Accountable for ensuring appropriate security controls for technology solutions, information, and data of the company
Interfaces with other industry leading organizations and individuals to maintain state-of-the-art product capabilities & technology offerings
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Degree in business or technology related subject
20 plus years’ experience in a CTO/ CIO role in a large, multi-national, multi-cultural organization.
Significant change management experience in either turnaround or fast-growth situations, both on the IT side and in a consumer, company setting
