تبحث The National ، المؤسسة الإخبارية الرائدة في الشرق الأوسط ، عن محرر الشؤون العربية للانضمام إلى فريقنا الموسع في أبو ظبي. يجب أن يكون لدى المرشحين معرفة عميقة بسياسة ودبلوماسية ومجتمع الشرق الأوسط وخبرة كبيرة في تغطية الأخبار الإقليمية الجادة. إتقان اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية أمر لا بد منه. مطلوب أيضًا سجل بمهارات التحرير والتكليف القوية ، إلى جانب التركيز على القصة والقدرة على العمل في فريق.
وسيشمل الدور قيادة وتنسيق تغطية الشرق الأوسط لدينا عبر مجموعة من المكاتب والمراسلين في المدن في جميع أنحاء المنطقة ، وكذلك في أبو ظبي. تعد الخبرة الواسعة في التحرير أو إعداد التقارير حول شؤون مجلس التعاون الخليجي مهمة بشكل خاص - كما هو الحال مع قائمة جهات اتصال قوية.
مقرها في أبو ظبي ولديها شبكة من المراسلين حول العالم ، أثبتت صحيفة The National مكانتها كمصدر رئيسي للأخبار في الشرق الأوسط وما وراءه من خلال فريق تحرير قوامه 140 فردًا.
The National, the leading quality Middle East news organisation, is looking for an Arab Affairs Editor to join our expanding team in Abu Dhabi. Candidates should have a deep knowledge of Middle Eastern politics, diplomacy and society and substantial experience covering serious regional news. Fluency in Arabic and English is a must. A record of strong editing and commissioning skills, coupled with an eye for a story and the ability to work in a team, is also required.
The role will involve driving and co-ordinating our Middle East coverage across a range of bureaux and correspondents in cities around the region, as well as in Abu Dhabi. Extensive experience editing or reporting on GCC affairs is especially important - as is a strong contact list.
Based in Abu Dhabi and with a network of reporters around the world, The National has established itself as a leading source of news for the Middle East and beyond with a 140-strong editorial team
