ملخص العمل:


أخصائي العلاج الطبيعي المسؤول عن تقييم المرضى المحولين إلى العلاج الطبيعي وتنظيم وتنفيذ برامج علاجية فردية مع المرضى وتسجيل تقدم المريض واستجابته للعلاج.

سيُطلب من أخصائي العلاج الطبيعي 1 توفير مستوى عالٍ من الرعاية الفردية والحفاظ عليه بناءً على إرشادات أفضل الممارسات الحالية للأفراد الذين يعانون من العلاج الطبيعي للهيكل العظمي والعضلي الذي يغطي كل من الحالات المحافظة وما بعد الجراحة.

سيقوم أخصائي العلاج الطبيعي بدور نشط في العمل ضمن قسم العلاج الطبيعي والفرق متعددة التخصصات.

يوفر أخصائي العلاج الطبيعي رعاية مناسبة للمرضى وفقًا للعلاج الطبيعي وإعادة التأهيل كما هو محدد في "نطاق الممارسة لأخصائي العلاج الطبيعي" من قبل وزارة الصحة / هيئة الصحة بدبي واستناداً إلى تقييمات الكفاءة المقررة والمؤكدة.

يستعد ويفحص المريض قبل العلاج
يوجه المريض فيما يتعلق بالعلاج الطبيعي والخطط والمعدات لضمان التفاهم والتعاون
يتحمل المسؤولية عن سلامة المرضى باتباع الإرشادات والبروتوكول المعمول به
يقيم ويعالج المرضى وفقًا للمعايير الحالية لممارسة العلاج الطبيعي التي تحكمها هيئة الصحة في أبو ظبي (لـ AMC) و DHA (لدبي) والتي صاغتها EPS. (جمعية الإمارات للعلاج الطبيعي)
يحتفظ بسجلات وتقارير لجميع التقييمات والعلاجات وتقديم إحصاءات حسب ما تتطلبه المعايير المهنية والإدارية.
بشكل استباقي وبشكل روتيني استخدام مقاييس النتائج المناسبة وتقييم تدخل العلاج الطبيعي.
يوفر التوجيه والإرشاد لأخصائيي العلاج الطبيعي وفنيي العلاج الطبيعي.
تطوير فهم شامل للخدمات الصحية والاجتماعية للمجتمع والتواصل بشكل فعال مع جميع التخصصات ومقدمي الخدمات ذوي الصلة من أجل تقديم رعاية شاملة لمجموعة المرضى.
يشارك في تخطيط تطوير الخدمة وتنفيذها.
يحدد فرص تحسين جودة العلاج الطبيعي

المسؤوليات :


الحفاظ على مستوى مناسب من التطوير المهني المستمر وفقًا لإرشادات وزارة الصحة / هيئة الصحة بدبي.
دعم تحسين أنظمة التشغيل وعمليات الخدمة والسياسات لدعم مهمة المستشفى ؛ دعم بشكل خاص لإعداد التقارير الإدارية وتدفق المعلومات وإدارتها وعملية الأعمال والتخطيط التنظيمي.
الاتصال بفريق العلاج الطبيعي وإعادة التأهيل ومقدمي الرعاية السريرية بشأن ملاءمة المعدات السريرية ومستلزمات المخزون.
يساعد في تحسين الخدمة في أنظمة التشغيل وعمليات الخدمة.
مواكبة آخر التطورات الحديثة.
تعزيز استراتيجيات الاتصال الفعال والحفاظ على اتصال جيد بين الإدارات.
العمل على تحقيق مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية الخاصة بالقسم ومؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية الخاصة بالمستشفيات.
المشاركة في أنشطة تحسين الجودة في الأقسام
ضمان تقديم الخدمات التي تتوافق مع جميع المعايير والمتطلبات المعمول بها للجنة المشتركة الدولية (JCI) والتشريعات والسياسات ومعايير الجودة و DOH / DHA وجميع الهيئات التنظيمية الأخرى المعمول بها.


التطوير المهني ومسؤوليات التعليم:

الاحتفاظ بالترخيص المهني كما هو مطلوب من قبل وزارة الصحة / هيئة الصحة بدبي
الحفاظ على المهارات محدثة وزيادة المعرفة والإنتاجية.
لمواكبة معايير أفضل الممارسات في العلاج الطبيعي من خلال المشاركة في التطوير المهني المستمر الرسمي وغير الرسمي على النحو الموصى به من قبل EPS. (جمعية الإمارات للعلاج الطبيعي)
إظهار القدرة على التكيف مع مجموعات المرضى المتنوعة حسب العمر
إظهار المعرفة ذات الصلة بنطاقها ومستوى ممارستها.
ممارسة الدور السريري وفقًا للتشريعات والمبادئ التوجيهية والسياسات ذات الصلة وسوف تدعم حقوق المرضى المستمدة من تلك الوثائق لضمان الحفاظ على المعايير المهنية.
المساعدة في تطوير بيئة تعليمية مناسبة لمقدمي الرعاية والعمل كمرشد / مدرس في الإشراف على الأقران وتعليمهم.

JOB SUMMARY


The Physiotherapist responsible for evaluating patients referred to physical therapy, organizing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs with patients and recording patient progress and response to treatment.
The Physiotherapist 1 will be required to pr***de and maintain a high standard of individualized care based on current best-practice guidelines to individuals with Musculo-skeletal physiotherapy covering both Conservative and Post-Operative cases.
The Physiotherapist will take an active role in working within the physical therapy division and multidisciplinary teams.
The Physiotherapist pr***des appropriate patient care according to Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of as defined in the “Scope of Practice for the Physiotherapist” by DOH/DHA and based on their assessed and confirmed competency evaluations.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES


Key areas of Responsibilities:

• Prepares and checks patient prior to treatment
• Instructs patient regarding physicial therapy treatment, plans, equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Takes responsibility for patient safety by following established guidelines and protocol
• Assesses and treat patients in accordance with current standards of physiotherapy practice governed by Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (for AMC) and DHA (for Dubai) and formulated by EPS. (Emirates Physiotherapy Society)
• Maintains records and reports of all assessments and treatments and to pr***de statistics as required by professional and departmental standards.
• Pro-actively and routinely utilize appropriate outcome measures and evaluate physiotherapy intervention.
• Pr***des coaching and guidance to physiotherapist and physiotherapist Technicians.
• Develops a comprehensive understanding of the community health and social services and to network effectively with all relevant disciplines and service pr***ders in order to deliver holistic care to the patient group.
• Participates in service development planning and implementation.
• Identifies opportunities for optimizing the quality of the physiotherapy
• Billing & Insurance follow ups
• Documentation of treatment.
• Main Stores Stock requisition.
• Maintenance job order requisition.
• Pharmacy drugs requisition (topical agents).
• House-keeping utilities requisition.

Other/Clinical Responsibilities

• Maintain an appropriate level of continuous professional development as per DOH/DHA guidelines.
• Support to improve the operational systems, service processes and policies in support of the hospital mission; specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
• Liaise with Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation team and clinical caregivers on the suitability of clinical equipment and inventory supplies.
• Assists with service improvements in the operational systems and service processes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest modern developments.
• Promote effective communication strategies and maintain good interdepartmental liaison.
• Work toward achieving the department specific KPIs and the Hospitals KPIs.
• Participate in Departmental Quality Improvement activities
• Ensure pr***ding services that are in compliance with all applicable standards and requirements of Joint Commission International (JCI), Legislation, Policies, Quality Standards, DOH/DHA, and all other applicable regulatory bodies.

• Maintain professional license as required by DOH/DHA
• Keep skills up to date and increases knowledge and productivity.
• To keep abreast of best practice standards in physiotherapy by participating in regular formal and informal Continuous Professional Development as recommended by the EPS. (Emirates Physiotherapy Society)
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations
• Demonstrate knowledge relevant to their scope and level of practice.
• Practice clinical role in accord with relevant legislation, guidelines and policies and will uphold patient rights derived from those documents to ensure professional standards are maintained.
• Assist in developing a suitable learning environment for caregivers and act as a mentor / preceptor in the supervision and teaching of peers.
• Accept responsibility to identify and meet own learning needs for professional growth by developing and sustaining own knowledge, clinical skills and professional awareness in accordance with Individual clinical registration requirements.
• Contribute to annual appraisal and be responsible for own Personal Development Programme.
• Actively attend mandatory training sessions and other internal education programmes.
• Develop own teaching skills and demonstrate evidence of participating in educational opportunities which meet the individual, service and organizational requirements.
• Complete competencies relevant to area of work

• Assist in promoting clinical practice in line with relevant research.
• Maintain an awareness of evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to research and development programs within the centre.

• Display an effective and efficient use of his/her time.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of safety policies and procedures; working according to safety rules and regulations as set by the organization towards a safe working environment.
• Contribute to the setting and monitoring of measurable standards of care and be accountable for maintaining standards

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


Education:

• BSc in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy (Essential)
• MSc degree in Physiotherapy (Preferred)

Experience:

• UAE NATIONALS do no require years of experience after graduation as per the DOH/DHA regulation
• Experienced in a JCIA facility (Preferred)

Certification and Licensure

• DOH / DHA license
• BLS
• ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty is preferred

Job Specific Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in English is mandatory
• Maintain knowledge of Physiotherapy trends and education and Evidence Based Practices.
• Strong oral and written communication
• Being able to speak in Arabic would be preferred
